I am the owner!

I started my journey as a tutor after 20 years of working in education and I’m so proud to run Count On Me Tuition, which allows me to follow my passion for building confidence and spreading joy.

Supporting children and families with SEND is something that is close to my heart as both a teacher and a mum with ND kids.

When I’m not working or getting my nails done, I love a nerdy puzzle, escape rooms, and trips to the theatre.

I am an experienced teacher and tutor with a passion for helping children recognise what they are capable of.

I specialise in 11+ tuition and believe that great tutoring should be about much more than simply passing a test. I want children to develop the skills, confidence and resilience that will support them far beyond the 11+.

Outside of teaching, I’m a devoted ‘Hammers’ fan and can usually be found talking about football, watching football or wondering why I continue to put myself through supporting West Ham!

I qualified as a maths teacher in 2013 and I have taught in the UK and in international school while I lived in Spain for a while.

I specialise in Maths GCSE, iGCSE and A-Level and as well as tutoring, work as an exam marker.

I believe everyone is capable of learning maths and focus on a student’s need to build knowledge, skills and confidence.

I enjoy reading, crafts, learning to play golf and hanging out with my nephews.

I am an experienced tutor with a passion for helping children grow in confidence and feel proud of what they can achieve. I have worked with children aged 3–16, including those with special educational needs, and understand the importance of adapting my approach to each individual.

I’m patient, encouraging and creative, and enjoy finding ways to make learning engaging through games, practical activities and children’s own interests. Building positive relationships is at the heart of my approach, helping children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and having a go.

Outside of tutoring, I’m a mum to three boys and enjoy spending time with my family and finding an outlet for my creativity!
